Basketball Recap: Advance Victorious

After losing to Kelly the last time they met, Advance decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hornets walked away with a 60-49 win over the Hawks on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Brodie Rodgers had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jameson Hamlin, who posted 14 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Advance now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Kelly, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Advance has already played their next matchup, a 64-30 victory against Zalma on the 13th. As for Kelly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-46 defeat against New Madrid County Central on the 16th.
