Baseball Recap: Kingsburg Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Kingsburg had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Washington Union Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Friday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Kingsburg's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Eric Garcia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Kingsburg's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Washington Union, they moved to 25-6 with that loss, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.

Coming up, Kingsburg will challenge Ridgeview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolf Pack will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. Washington Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
