Basketball Recap: Grove Christian School Comes Up Short

Grove Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Banner Christian. The Falcons lost against Banner Christian in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 82-30 score last time.

Grove Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Banner Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Grove Christian School will be playing in front of their home fans against Stuart Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Banner Christian, they will head out to challenge Kenston Forest at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kenston Forest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.2 points per game this season.
