Basketball Recap: Nazareth Falls Short Against Ranked Virginia Academy

Nazareth is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Virginia Academy. The Nazareth Kingsmen took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Virginia Academy Patriots.

Nazareth's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Virginia Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Nazareth won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Virginia Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Menchville on January 31st.
