Soccer Recap: Shoals Comes Up Short

Shoals kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 11-2 to the Southwestern Rebels.

Henry Hoffman and Kyle Wininger scored both of Shoals' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shoals will head out to face off against Washington Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Shoals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Southwestern, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Milan at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th.
