Baseball Preview: Wyomissing Spartans vs. Schuylkill Valley Panthers

Wyomissing had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past Reading 11-5. Wyomissing's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Birkley Ziegler and Ryker Jones made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Ziegler tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Jones struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
