Basketball Recap: Immaculate Heart Academy Comes Up Short

Immaculate Heart Academy was the 49-45 winner over St. Rose when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles came up short against the St. Rose Purple Roses on Friday, falling 58-35. While losing is never fun, the Blue Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Purple Roses are ranked seventh).

Immaculate Heart Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for St. Rose, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Immaculate Heart Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against River Dell at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday. As for St. Rose, they will square off against Manasquan at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
