Recap: South Aiken Thoroughbreds vs. Academy of Richmond County Musketeers
The South Aiken Thoroughbreds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a rough 74-52 loss at the hands of Academy of Richmond County. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly South Aiken struggled afterwards.
South Aiken's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Nipper, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Ladontae Felton, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
South Aiken bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Academy of Richmond County, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
South Aiken and White Knoll will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Academy of Richmond County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Windsor Forest at 5:00 p.m. on December 20th.
