Basketball Game Preview: Libby Loggers vs. Ronan Chiefs

Libby hasn't had much luck against Ronan recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Libby Loggers will challenge the Ronan Chiefs at 4:00 p.m.

Libby is headed into Saturday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 75-8 loss at the hands of Bigfork.

Meanwhile, Ronan hadn't done well against Columbia Falls recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Ronan narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Columbia Falls 58-55.

Ronan now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Libby, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Libby might still be hurting after the 44-21 loss they got from Ronan in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Libby avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
