Umatilla was handed a ten-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Leesburg Yellow Jackets 8-7. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won nine in a row.

Jaelyn Larsen and Chloe Rumford were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Larsen pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Meanwhile, Rumford tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. At bat, Larsen scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Rumford went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aliyah Duncan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
