Cole Mercier put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
