Baseball Game Preview: Thunderbird Titans vs. Marcos de Niza Padres

The Thunderbird Titans will square off against the Marcos de Niza Padres at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Thunderbird is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Thunderbird got the win against Moon Valley by a conclusive 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Thunderbird got a massive performance out of Austin Coates, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Sam, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Marcos de Niza fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against St. Mary's on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 5-2 to the Knights. The Padres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thunderbird's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Marcos de Niza, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Thunderbird took their victory against Marcos de Niza in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 11-1. Does Thunderbird have another victory up their sleeve, or will Marcos de Niza turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
