Chartiers Valley proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Allegheny Indians, sneaking past 1-0. This was a revenge game for Chartiers Valley: when they faced off against West Allegheny back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Chartiers Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for West Allegheny, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
