McCall-Donnelly dropped to 5-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They came up short against  the Fruitland Grizzlies, falling  52-27. If the Vandals were looking for revenge after losing  24-13 to the Grizzlies when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, McCall-Donnelly still got an impressive performance from   Colt Value, who rushed for 237 yards and three  touchdowns. Value has become a key player for the Vandals: the team is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
 While McCall-Donnelly came up short, they sure didn't make it easy for Fruitland: they limited their QB to completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank  Joker Joyce for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for McCall-Donnelly; they were averaging 62.9%completion percentage earlier this season, but in their last three contests they've fallen to only 62.9%.
As for Fruitland, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Titus Vidlak was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 298 yards and five  TDs while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 82 yards on only eight carries. He is  on a roll when it comes to  passing touchdowns, as he's  now  passed for three or more in each of the last seven games he's  played.  Spencer Tracy did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 69 receiving yards.
As of now, neither McCall-Donnelly nor Fruitland have any future games scheduled.
