Soccer Game Preview: Gardena vs. Carson

Gardena is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Carson Colts at 4:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Gardena challenged Lawndale on Monday. The Panthers lost 4-0 to the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Carson and North finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Friday.

Gardena's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. Carson's draw makes their record 1-1-3 this season.

Gardena couldn't quite get it done against Carson in their previous meeting back in February as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
