Tug Valley barely beat Phelps the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hornets on Tuesday. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 24, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tug Valley took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-8.

When it comes to explaining why Phelps lost, don't look at Cloey Bevins. Despite the final result, she had 12 assists and seven digs.

The win got Tug Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Phelps, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
