San Jacinto Valley Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 13-6 win over the Hemet Bulldogs.

Kaahliyah Lacy was nothing short of spectacular: she rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 18 yards and one TD.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to San Jacinto Valley Academy's defense and their five sacks. In that department, Kassandra Zamora was the leader with three.

Hemet's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Shiloh Wigal, who gained 136 total yards, and Alyssa DeAnda, who rushed for 66 yards and one score.

San Jacinto Valley Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hemet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

San Jacinto Valley Academy has already played their next match, an 18-0 win against Nuview Bridge on the 3rd. As for Hemet, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Elsinore at 7:30 p.m. on the 8th.
