Recap: Oakland Tech Bulldogs vs. Westinghouse Warriors
The Oakland Tech Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Westinghouse Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Oakland Tech snuck past Westinghouse with a 60-55 win on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Oakland Tech to victory were Asher Kramer and Ardarius Grayson. Kramer scored 14 points, while Grayson scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 assists. The contest was Grayson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Xan Myer-Plettner was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
Oakland Tech's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Westinghouse, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Oakland Tech will take on Lincoln Park at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln Park knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Oakland Tech likes a good challenge. As for Westinghouse, they will head out on the road to face off against Fremont at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Fremont is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 72 points per game.
