Manhattan entered their tilt with Great Bend on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Panthers 8-2. Considering the Indians have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Manhattan's victory bumped their record up to 15-4-2. As for Great Bend, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Manhattan beat the Panthers by a score of 6-5 later that day.
