Softball Recap: North Lamar Comes Up Short

North Lamar was the 12-11 winner over Lone Oak when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Buffaloes by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lone Oak, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.

Looking ahead, North Lamar is taking a road trip to challenge Mount Vernon at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lone Oak, they will take on Cooper in a tournament on Thursday.
