The Falls Church Jaguars will face off against the Mount Vernon Majors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Falls Church took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Hayfield, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Jaguars won by a run and slipped past the Hawks 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jaguars have posted since April 12, 2024.

Winston Stewart was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Stefin Schneider was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
