Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Van Buren Vee Bees. Edison was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Van Buren apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Van Buren, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Edison and Townsend Harris will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Edison surely won't give up without a fight. Van Buren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
