Winning always takes teamwork, but in Saturday's second game Layton Allen stepped things up a notch to give Cloverdale the 'W'. White River Valley had no answer to Allen as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (he also only allowed one walk).
Allen and Cloverdale will be playing in front of their home fans against West Vigo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cloverdale has not beaten West Vigo recently, having gone 0-4 since April of 2015.
