Mooresville extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Brevon Burns. The Mooresville Pioneers had just enough and edged out the Greenwood Woodmen 76-73 with plenty of help from Burns, who to rack up 26 points along with seven boards and three steals. His big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Silas Smith was another key player, putting up five points. What's more, he also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Greenwood still got an impressive performance from Parker Doolin, who on his way to 23 points and three steals. Doolin is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan King, who en route to 12 points and seven assists.

Mooresville's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Greenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Mooresville will face off against Bedford North Lawrence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Mooresville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Greenwood has already played their next contest (against Beech Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
