With a playoff win on the line, Arizona Lutheran Academy rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the Willcox Cowboys as they made off with a 59-34 victory. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Lauren Riesop was nothing short of spectacular: she went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on her way to 32 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. Emma Ohm was another key player, putting up ten points along with six assists and five boards.

Willcox lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addison Burright, who posted 13 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maddie Bennett, who scored 12 points and seven rebounds.

Arizona Lutheran Academy's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Willcox, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 21-8 record.

Arizona Lutheran Academy has already played their next game, a 60-55 victory against Pima on the 18th. Willcox does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
