Basketball Recap: Caldwell Parish Takes a Loss

Caldwell Parish lost against West Monroe back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Caldwell Parish Spartans had to suffer through a 68-32 loss at the hands of the West Monroe Rebels. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Rebels are ranked 74th).

Caldwell Parish now has a losing record of 13-14. As for West Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 14-15.

While Caldwell Parish had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
