Football Recap: Doherty Comes Up Short

Doherty lost against Rampart back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans took a 26-7 bruising from the Rams.

Despite the loss, Doherty still got an impressive performance from Brody Noll, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Doherty's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rampart, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Doherty didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-6 defeat against Cheyenne Mountain on the 26th. As for Rampart, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Durango at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd. The Demons' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them.
