Baseball Game Preview: Mid-Carolina Rebels vs. Spring Valley Vikings

The Mid-Carolina Rebels will venture away from home to challenge the Spring Valley Vikings at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Mid-Carolina has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Mid-Carolina blew Camden out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Camden got their revenge. The Rebels fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2.

Meanwhile, Spring Valley suffered their biggest defeat since March 11th on Monday. They came up short against Dutch Fork, falling 10-1. Vikings fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Silver Foxes since on Monday.

Spring Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11. As for Mid-Carolina, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Mid-Carolina beat Spring Valley 11-6 when the teams last played back in February of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
