Basketball Recap: Eagle River Takes a Loss

Eagle River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-6 loss at the hands of the Service Cougars. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Service got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sialeia Silva out in front who posted 22 points. Aryanna Watson was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Eagle River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Service, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Eagle River and Service will both be playing Dimond the next time they take the court. Eagle River will head out to face Dimond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Service will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
