Soccer Recap: North's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

North kept a clean sheet against La Joya Community on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

North's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4. As for La Joya Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Sierra Linda the next time they take the pitch. North will head out to face Sierra Linda at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025, while La Joya Community will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025.
