Baseball Game Preview: Vancleave Bulldogs vs. Wayne County War Eagles

For the second straight game, Vancleave will face off against Wayne County. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the War Eagles at 1:00 p.m. Vancleave will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

On Friday, Vancleave was able to grind out a solid win over Wayne County, taking the game 9-6.

Dane McElroy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
