Estrella Foothills is a perfect 10-0 against Cactus since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolves will look to defend their home court against the Cobras at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

Estrella Foothills not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 29th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Peoria as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-16, 25-11.

Estrella Foothills found their leader in sophomore Gabby Coronado, who had three digs and three aces.

Estrella Foothills was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Cactus had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They put the hurt on the Skyhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. Surprisingly, this marked the Cobras' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Cactus' win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Estrella Foothills, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5-5.

Everything went Estrella Foothills' way against Cactus in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Estrella Foothills made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Cobras have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
