Soccer Game Preview: Taos vs. Santa Fe

Taos hasn't had much luck against Santa Fe recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Demons at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Taos is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Valley on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Taos' goal came courtesy of Aaliyah Padilla, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe fought the good fight in their overtime match against Manzano on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 3-2.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Taos, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.
