Football Recap: Gilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Gilford was feeling good fresh off their 35-0 takedown of Sanborn Regional last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Eagles were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 15-14 to the Laconia Sachems. The game was a 8-8 toss-up at halftime, but the Golden Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Gilford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Laconia, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gilford will face off against Epping/Newmarket at 2:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Laconia, they will head out to challenge Fryeburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
