Soccer Game Preview: Tioga vs. Ouachita Christian

The Tioga Indians will square off against the Ouachita Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Tioga will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against Leesville on Tuesday. Tioga blew past Leesville 7-1. Considering the Indians' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Ouachita Christian kept a clean sheet against Wossman on Monday. Everything went their way against the Wildcats as they made off with an 8-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Tioga's victory bumped their record up to 9-7-1. As for Ouachita Christian, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3-2 record.

Everything went Tioga's way against Ouachita Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Tioga made off with a 5-2 victory. Does Tioga have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ouachita Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
