There's no place like home for Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Sunny Hills Lancers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Comanches have posted since October 15, 2024.

Canyon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-14, 15-12.

When it comes to explaining why Sunny Hills lost on Tuesday, don't look at Bella George. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two aces.

Canyon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-14 record this season. As for Sunny Hills, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 19-6 record.
