Soccer Recap: Powdersville's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After soaring to four goals the game before, Powdersville was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Christ Church Episcopal this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Powdersville's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for Christ Church Episcopal, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1.

Coincidentally, Powdersville and Christ Church Episcopal will both be playing St. Joseph's Catholic the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cavaliers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
