On Friday, Vestavia Hills faced Saint James in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Vestavia Hills Rebels walked away with a 64-57 win over the Saint James Trojans. The victory was familiar territory for the Rebels who have now won three contests in a row.

Vestavia Hills' win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Saint James, with the defeat, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-2.
