Football Game Preview: Geneva Vikings vs. Wheaton North Falcons + How To Watch

The Geneva Vikings will head out to take on the Wheaton North Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Geneva blew Glenbard North out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Glenbard North got their revenge. The Vikings fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 16-13. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The losing side was boosted by Ben Peterson, who rushed for 112 yards and one TD on only 15 carries, and also threw for 153 yards on 11 of 27 attempts.

Meanwhile, Wheaton North played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Batavia, falling 28-7. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Wheaton North's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Geneva, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Geneva didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wheaton North in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 28-24 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
