Soccer Game Preview: Clawson vs. Hazel Park

The Clawson Trojans will head out to square off against the Hazel Park Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Clawson will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Monday, Clawson got the win against Warren Woods-Tower by a conclusive 5-2. The result was nothing new for Clawson, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hazel Park has been on a difficult stretch since their win on April 22. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Center Line on Monday. Hazel Park fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Center Line since Monday.

Clawson now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Hazel Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2.

Clawson got the 'W' when the teams last played two weeks ago against Hazel Park by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
