Basketball Recap: Providence Academy Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Providence Academy lost to Berean Christian back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Providence Academy took down Berean Christian 61-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for Providence Academy.

When it comes to explaining why Berean Christian lost, don't look at Connor Copeland. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points along with six boards and three steals. Copeland is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. Josh Myers was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.

Providence Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.1 points per game. As for Berean Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
