Football Game Preview: Dysart Demons vs. Benjamin Franklin Chargers + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Jevon Christmas and Landon Stetka are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Dysart Demons will head out to face off against the Benjamin Franklin Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dysart is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering River Valley just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to the Dust Devils at home by a 46-30 margin.

Dysart might have lost, but man, Donovan Hinchey was a machine: he picked up 138 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one score on the ground. Hinchey's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Franklin strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 35-14 margin over Pusch Ridge Christian Academy. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Chargers were the (much) better team in the second half.

Benjamin Franklin's win came from a few key players Dysart will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Gavin Wyler, who threw for 264 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Ty Sather was Wyler's top target, picking up 104 receiving yards and one score.

Dysart's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Benjamin Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Dysart took a serious blow against Benjamin Franklin in their previous meeting back in August, falling 49-10. Can the Demons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
