Volleyball Recap: West Clermont Wolves vs. Loveland Tigers
West Clermont lost against Loveland on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While West Clermont was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-15.
Trent Cottrell paced West Clermont's offense, picking up ten kills. Cottrell got some help from Jordan Michael Pack and his 13 assists. Isaac Brosch controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
West Clermont's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Loveland, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Clermont is set to face off against their familiar foe Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Loveland will take on rival Walnut Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
