Baseball Game Preview: Hernando Leopards vs. Umatilla Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Hernando will face off against Umatilla. The Leopards will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hernando will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Hernando is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against Umatilla as they made off with an 11-1 victory. 11 seems to be a good number for the Leopards as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Cadyn Williams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Eric O'Dell was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaine Ellis, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Umatilla's loss dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Hernando, their victory bumped their record up to 19-14.
