Flag Football Game Preview: Benicia Panthers vs. Las Lomas Knights

The Benicia Panthers will challenge the Las Lomas Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Benicia's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They claimed a resounding 59-0 win over Miramonte. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their six-point performance the game before.

Benicia relied on the efforts of Kaitlyn Nichols, who rushed for 67 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries, and Kalea Cronin, who gained 92 total yards and three touchdowns. Those 67 rushing yards gave Nichols a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Las Lomas put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 33-6 victory over Campolindo. 33 seems to be a good number for the Knights as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Benicia's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Las Lomas, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

Benicia strolled past Las Lomas in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 by a score of 28-12. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
