Basketball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brooks can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Lemont Lemont HS and fell 75-25. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Brooks' loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lemont, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season.

Brooks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lemont, they will challenge Thornton Fractional North at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Thornton Fractional North has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
