Soccer Recap: John Carroll Catholic Comes Up Short

The John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers came up short against the Homewood Patriots on Friday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, John Carroll Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Homewood are ranked sixth).

John Carroll Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 10-9-2. As for Homewood, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, John Carroll Catholic will head out to take on Ramsay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Homewood, they will host Minor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
