Soccer Game Preview: Springfield vs. Lockport

The Springfield Senators will be taking part in a tournament against the Lockport Porters at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Springfield will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Springfield beat Pewaukee 3-1.

Addie Maddox and Kamryn Hoffman scored all three of the Senators' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 51 goals.

Meanwhile, Lockport kept a clean sheet against Normal West on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. Considering Lockport have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lockport is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Springfield, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.
