Elgin is 7-1 against Streamwood since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Maroons will look to defend their home pitch against the Sabres at 6:30 p.m. Elgin is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Wednesday, Elgin made easy work of Lake Park and carried off a 7-2 win. The result was nothing new for Elgin, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Lake Park with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leilani Arroyo (2), Ximena Magana (2), Michelle Moreno (2), and Michelle Ayala.

Meanwhile, Streamwood won against Maine West on Wednesday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Thursday. The Sabres walked away with a 3-1 victory over Regina Dominican. That's two games straight that Streamwood have won by exactly two goals.

Elgin pushed their record up to 11-0-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five contests. As for Streamwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Elgin took their win against Streamwood in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Do the Maroons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sabres turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
