Sacramento Waldorf came tearing into Friday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Victory Christian Vikings 56-32. The Waves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Sacramento Waldorf was led to victory by Liam Mason Melberg and Malachi Miranda. Mason Melberg posted 18 points and three steals, while Miranda almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Miranda a new career-high in assists (four). Liam Aldwinckle was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Victory Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Luke Smith had 15 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Kapelkin, who put up eight points.

Sacramento Waldorf's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points per game. As for Victory Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Sacramento Waldorf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-26 win against John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin on the 14th. As for Victory Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 60-59 victory against Foresthill on the 14th.
